Viracept side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on May 09, 2006. Female patient, 49 years of age, was diagnosed with hiv test positive , fungal infection , gastrooesophageal reflux disease, peptic ulcer  and was treated with Viracept. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood magnesium increased, dizziness , electrocardiogram qt prolonged, torsade de pointes. Viracept dosage: 2250 MG (TID), ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with LAMIVUDINE, ZIDOVUDINE, FLUCONAZOLE, OMEPRAZOLE, DAPSONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Viracept dosage: 500 MG BID, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with COMBIVIR, ATENOLOL, METHADONE, SERESTATE, TRUXAL, DUPHALAC. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 05/30/2001.
