Viracept Side Effects Report #5030048-8
Viracept side effect was reported by a Physician from CANADA on June 05, 2006. Male patient, 50 years of age, was diagnosed with hiv test positive , complex partial seizures and was treated with Viracept. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, balance disorder, bone marrow toxicity, confusional state, disturbance in attention, dysphagia, fatigue, haemorrhage, oral candidiasis. Viracept dosage: 2500 MG (1250 MG, 2 IN 1 D). During the same period patient was treated with CARBAMAZEPINE, TENOFOVIR, LAMIVUDINE, CITALOPRAM HYDROBROMIDE, FLUCONAZOLE. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, atrioventricular block complete, cardiac arrest , electrocardiogram qt prolonged, nausea , sinus bradycardia, syncope. Viracept dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with INDINAVIR, LAMIVUDINE, STAVUDINE, COMBIVIR, PROPYLTHIOURACIL, KLONOPIN, ISONIAZID. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, funisitis, phlebitis, placental disorder, stillbirth. Viracept dosage: 2500 MG, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with COMBIVIR, ZERIT, EPIVIR. Patient recovered.

Viracept dosage: TEXT:5 DOSE FORM 2 X PER DAY / 250 MG. During the same period patient was treated with COMBIVIR, RETROVIR, CLAMOXYL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal distension, alanine aminotransferase increased, anaemia, blood creatine phosphokinase increased, blood ketone body increased, hypertension, hypertriglyceridaemia, laboratory test abnormal. Viracept dosage: 2500 MG (1250 MG, BID), ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with COMBIVIR, RETROVIR, BACTRIM, COLPOSEPTINE, SPASFON. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
