Vinflunine Side Effects Report #4768233-2
Vinflunine side effect was reported by a Health Professional from FRANCE on Sept 02, 2005. Female patient, 46 years of age, was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and was treated with Vinflunine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: candidiasis, haematuria, proteinuria, pyrexia, urine odour abnormal. Vinflunine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CISPLATIN, ETOPOSIDE, ATENOLOL, ZOPICLONE, SIMVASTATIN, LANSOPRAZOLE, DOCUSATE, PARACETAMOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 51 years of age, was diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer, pain  and was treated with Vinflunine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: central line infection, fungal infection , leukopenia, neutropenia, platelet count decreased, pneumococcal sepsis, pyrexia. Vinflunine dosage: 280 MG/M2. INITIATED ON 24-FEB-2003. REMOVED FROM PROTOCOL ON 01-APR-2003.. During the same period patient was treated with CARBOPLATIN, BRONCHODUAL, ONDANSETRON. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
