Vinflunine Side Effects Report #4816648-6
Vinflunine side effect was reported by a Health Professional from FRANCE on Apr 29, 2003. Male patient, 71 years of age, weighting 178.6 lb, was diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer and was treated with Vinflunine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anorexia, asthenia, condition aggravated, dehydration, diarrhoea, hypokalaemia, hyponatraemia, neutropenia. Vinflunine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CISPLATIN, METOCLOPRAMIDE, FENTANYL, DICLOFENAC. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 04/10/2003.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: central line infection, fungal infection , leukopenia, neutropenia, platelet count decreased, pneumococcal sepsis, pyrexia. Vinflunine dosage: 280 MG/M2. INITIATED ON 24-FEB-2003. REMOVED FROM PROTOCOL ON 01-APR-2003.. During the same period patient was treated with CARBOPLATIN, BRONCHODUAL, ONDANSETRON. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
