Female patient, 39 years of age, weighting 99.21 lb, was diagnosed with hiv infection , prophylaxis and was treated with Videx. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal distension, abdominal pain , blood creatine phosphokinase increased, blood creatinine increased, blood lactic acid increased, blood ph abnormal, candidiasis, constipation , escherichia infection. Videx dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with EPIVIR, NEVIRAPINE, INDINIVIR SULPHATE, SEPTRIN, LAMIVUDINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
