Vidaza side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on July 29, 2008. Female patient, 82 years of age, weighting 163.1 lb, was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome and was treated with Vidaza. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: colitis, dizziness , dyspnoea, haematochezia, haemoglobin decreased. Vidaza dosage: (100 MG/M2, DAILY X 5 DAYS), INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with ZOCOR, TOPROL, VITAMIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood creatinine increased, blood potassium increased, confusional state, depressed level of consciousness, dyspnoea, international normalised ratio increased, lethargy. Vidaza dosage: 75 MG/M2, SUBCUTANEOUS. During the same period patient was treated with WARFARIN, DIGOXIN, FUROSEMIDE, MODAFINIL, ESZOPICLONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Patient died on 01/25/2006.

Vidaza dosage: 108MG EVERY OTHER DAY, X2WEEKS Q4WEEKS : SUBCUTANEOUS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , diarrhoea haemorrhagic, dyspnoea, hypoglycaemia, metabolic acidosis, sepsis syndrome, shock, vomiting. Vidaza dosage: 100 MG SQ. During the same period patient was treated with FLUCONAZOLE, PROTONIX, VALTREX, ALLOPURINOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
