Vidaza side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Jan 21, 2008. Male patient, 65 years of age, weighting 176.8 lb, was diagnosed with myeloproliferative disorder and was treated with Vidaza. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , necrosis, rash , refusal of treatment by patient, splenic infarction. Vidaza dosage: 75 MG/M2, DAILY, INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with PROCHLORPERAZINE MALEATE, DOCUSATE, SENNA, FIBERCON. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Vidaza dosage: 60 MG(M2 (100 MG), SUBCUTANEOUS. During the same period patient was treated with ADVAIR DISKUS, LASIX, NORVASC, PLAVIX, PROTONIX, PREDNISONE, TOPROL, PRAVACHOL. Patient died on 10/31/2005.

Vidaza dosage: 170 MG DAILY X 5 DAYS EVERY 28 DAYS IV. During the same period patient was treated with NORVASC, SYNTHROID, VIT D, EVISTA. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 11/22/2007.
