Vesanoid Side Effects Report #5109877-8
Vesanoid side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Sept 19, 2006. Female patient, child 6 years of age, weighting 44.09 lb, was diagnosed with acute promyelocytic leukaemia and was treated with Vesanoid. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: benign intracranial hypertension, circulatory collapse, dyspnoea, hypoxia, mental status changes, tachycardia, urine output decreased. Vesanoid dosage: 10 MG BID ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with FLUCONAZOLE, BACTRIM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 60 years of age, weighting 149.9 lb, was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia, vomiting and was treated with Vesanoid. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: gamma-glutamyltransferase increased, haemoptysis, hepatic enzyme increased, hypoxia, liver disorder, pancreatic enzymes increased, pleural effusion, pneumocystis jiroveci pneumonia. Vesanoid dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CARDIOXANE, ZOFRAN, PRIMPERAN, CERUBIDINE, ARACYTINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
