Vesanoid side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Dec 14, 2005. Female patient, 74 years of age, weighting 127.9 lb, was diagnosed with acute promyelocytic leukaemia and was treated with Vesanoid. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: depressed level of consciousness, hypercalcaemia, infection
, liver abscess. Vesanoid dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with TAGAMET, DIFLUCAN, MEROPEN, EXACIN, FUNGUARD, GLYCYRON, VANCOMYCIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.Vesanoid Side Effects Report #4904558-5

Vesanoid side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Nov 24, 2004. Male patient, child 12 years of age, was diagnosed with acute promyelocytic leukaemia and was treated with Vesanoid. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: creatinine renal clearance decreased, cystitis haemorrhagic, hepatic function abnormal, hypercalcaemia, nephritis interstitial, oliguria, platelet count decreased, red blood cell count decreased, renal failure. Vesanoid dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ACLARUBICIN HYDROCHLORIDE, DIAMOX, ALLOPURINOL, COTRIM, DIFLUCAN. Patient recovered.
