Male patient, child 3 years of age, was diagnosed with ear tube insertion and was treated with Versed. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: brain damage, hypersensitivity, hypoxia, overdose. Versed dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MORPHINE, ATROPINE, PROMETHAZINE, DEMEROL. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bronchial obstruction, cough, hypoxia, increased viscosity of bronchial secretion, lung adenocarcinoma metastatic, metastases to lymph nodes, oxygen saturation decreased, pleural effusion, pneumonia . Versed dosage: 1 MG [ONE DOSE ONLY]. Patient died on 01/26/2006.
