Versed side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Oct 18, 2007. Male patient, 69 years of age, was diagnosed with sedation and was treated with Versed. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atrial fibrillation , cardio-respiratory arrest, electromechanical dissociation, hypertension, procedural hypertension, respiratory failure. Versed dosage: 4 MG IV X 1. During the same period patient was treated with FENTANYL, ATENOLOL, LANSOPRAZOLE, FUROSEMIDE, LOSARTAN POTASSIUM, ADVAIR DISKUS, SPIRIVA, ONDANSETRON. Patient recovered.

Versed side effect was reported by a Physician from CANADA on Nov 28, 2005. Male patient, 78 years of age, weighting 220.5 lb, was diagnosed with agitation, cerebral haemorrhage and was treated with Versed. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: angiopathy, cerebral haemorrhage, haemorrhagic stroke, hypertension. Versed dosage: 5 MG, PRN. During the same period patient was treated with NOVOSEVEN. Patient died on 11/24/2005.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardio-respiratory arrest, erythema, hepatic lesion, hypertension, hypotension, labile blood pressure, liver function test abnormal. Versed dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with FENTANYL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
