Male patient, 81 years of age, weighting 156.0 lb, was diagnosed with hypertension and was treated with Verelan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hypotension, syncope. Verelan dosage: 200MG, 1 IN 1 DAY, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with LISINOPRIL, METOPROLOL SUCCINATE, SILYBUM MARIANUM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 75 years of age, weighting 144.0 lb, was diagnosed with essential hypertension and was treated with Verelan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bradycardia, cardiac arrest What is  cardiac arrest, dizziness What is  dizziness, nausea What is  nausea, syncope, ventricular fibrillation. Verelan dosage: 300 MG, ONCE/DAY, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with METOPROLOL SUCCINATE, HYZAAR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
