Verelan side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Dec 26, 2007. Female patient, 60 years of age, weighting 124.0 lb, was diagnosed with hypertension and was treated with Verelan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure inadequately controlled, muscle spasms, nausea , pain in extremity. Verelan dosage: 100MG HS PO. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, blood pressure increased, chest discomfort, feeling abnormal, insomnia, limb discomfort, muscular weakness, nausea , pain . Verelan dosage: 100 MG, ONCE/DAY, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with ASPIRIN, RANITIDINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bradycardia, cardiac arrest , dizziness , nausea , syncope, ventricular fibrillation. Verelan dosage: 300 MG, ONCE/DAY, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with METOPROLOL SUCCINATE, HYZAAR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
