Verelan side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Mar 09, 2006. Female patient, 75 years of age, weighting 144.0 lb, was diagnosed with essential hypertension and was treated with Verelan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, bradycardia, cardiac arrest , diabetes mellitus non-insulin-dependent, dyspnoea, malaise, ventricular fibrillation. Verelan dosage: 300 MG, ONCE/DAY, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with METOPROLOL SUCCINATE, HYZAAR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bradycardia, cardiac arrest , dizziness , nausea , syncope, ventricular fibrillation. Verelan dosage: 300 MG, ONCE/DAY, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with METOPROLOL SUCCINATE, HYZAAR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
