Male patient, 67 years of age, weighting 260.1 lb, was diagnosed with thrombocytopenia and was treated with Vercyte. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hepatic lesion, pancytopenia, purpura, renal failure. Vercyte dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ALLOPURINOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
