Vepesid Side Effects Report #5799452-4
Vepesid side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on June 25, 2008. Male patient, 63 years of age, was diagnosed with lymphoma  and was treated with Vepesid. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, anaemia, aspartate aminotransferase increased, febrile neutropenia, leukopenia, sepsis . Vepesid dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with IFOSFAMIDE, METHOTREXATE, ELSPAR, DEXAMETHASONE, LEUCOVORIN CALCIUM, MESNA. Patient died.

Vepesid side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Sept 29, 2005. Female patient, 64 years of age, was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukaemia and was treated with Vepesid. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: candidiasis, diarrhoea, febrile neutropenia, liver abscess, sepsis , splenic abscess, stomatitis. Vepesid dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ENDOXAN, DOXORUBICIN, CYTARABINE, LEUKERIN, GLEEVEC, ONCOVIN, PREDONINE, METHOTREXATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hypoxia, post procedural complication, respiratory distress, sepsis . Vepesid dosage: 100 MG/M2 FOR 5 DAYS Q3W. During the same period patient was treated with PAXENE, HOLOXAN, BLEOMYCIN, CISPLATIN, OXALIPLATIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
