Vepesid Side Effects Report #5955253-5
Vepesid side effect was reported by a Health Professional from JAPAN on Nov 12, 2008. Female patient, child 4 years of age, was diagnosed with neuroblastoma recurrent and was treated with Vepesid. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac failure, haemolytic uraemic syndrome, infection , malignant neoplasm progression, multi-organ failure. Vepesid dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PARAPLATIN, MELPHALAN. Patient died.

Vepesid side effect was reported by a Health Professional from JAPAN on Oct 17, 2006. Female patient, 70 years of age, was diagnosed with diffuse large b-cell lymphoma and was treated with Vepesid. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: infection , pleural effusion, pneumothorax, pyothorax, tumour perforation. Vepesid dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ENDOXAN, ADRIAMYCIN PFS, ONCOVIN. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure decreased, bone marrow failure, disseminated intravascular coagulation, infection , multi-organ failure. Vepesid dosage: INITIATED ON 01AUG08: 50 MG/M2 THRICE MONTHLY.. During the same period patient was treated with CARBOMERCK. Patient died on 08/26/2008.
