Male patient, 58 years of age, was diagnosed with metastases to central nervous system, lung squamous cell carcinoma stage iv and was treated with Vepesid. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute myeloid leukaemia, pneumonia , treatment related secondary malignancy. Vepesid dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with BRIPLATIN, PARAPLATIN, MITOMYCIN, VINDESINE SULPHATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 09/30/1998.
