Female patient, 82 years of age, weighting 119.0 lb, was diagnosed with iron deficiency anaemia and was treated with Venofer. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bradycardia, hyperhidrosis, hypotension, rash , somnolence. Venofer dosage: 500 MG IN 250 ML NS OVER 3-4 HR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
