Female patient, 81 years of age, weighting 163.1 lb, was diagnosed with nephrogenic anaemia and was treated with Venofer. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: burning sensation, injection site extravasation, injection site reaction. Venofer dosage: 100 MG WEEKLY IV. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
