Vecuronium Side Effects Report #4778697-6
Vecuronium side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on Sept 05, 2005. Male patient, 59 years of age, was diagnosed with sedation and was treated with Vecuronium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, dialysis , grip strength decreased, hypopnoea, movement disorder , neuromuscular block prolonged. Vecuronium dosage: 60 MG INTRAVENOUS DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with DOPAMINE, KETAMINE, MIDAZOLAM HYDROCHLORIDE, PROPOFOL, FENTANYL CITATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, grip strength decreased, hypokinesia, hypopnoea, neuromuscular block prolonged, post procedural complication, septic shock. Vecuronium dosage: 60 MG. During the same period patient was treated with MIDAZOLAM HYDROCHLORIDE, PROPOFOL, FENTANYL CITRATE, ROXATADINE ACETATE HYDROCHLORIDE, TEICOPLANIN, DOPAMINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

Female patient, 78 years of age, was diagnosed with induction of anaesthesia and was treated with Vecuronium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: altered state of consciousness, blood pressure increased, convulsion, heart rate increased, hypopnoea, loss of consciousness, oxygen saturation decreased. Vecuronium dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with URSODIOL, FLOPROPIONE, VALSARTAN, PRAVASTATIN, LAFUTIDINE, NIFEDIPINE, INSULIN, ASPIRIN. Patient recovered.

Vecuronium dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with FENTANYL CITRATE, PROPOFOL, FUROSEMIDE, POTASSIUM CHLORIDE, FAMOTIDINE, CEFAZOLIN. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaesthetic complication, hypopnoea, metastases to liver, neuromuscular block prolonged. Vecuronium dosage: 8 MG ONCE/2 MG ONCE/2 MG ONCE/ 1 MG ONCE, INTRAVENOUS BOLUS. During the same period patient was treated with VECURONIUM BROMIDE, VECURONIUM BROMIDE, FENTANYL CITRATE, PROPOFOL, FUROSEMIDE, POTASSIUM CHLORIDE, FAMOTIDINE. Patient died.
