Vecuronium Side Effects Report #5363283-X
Vecuronium side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on June 13, 2007. Female patient, 78 years of age, was diagnosed with induction of anaesthesia and was treated with Vecuronium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: altered state of consciousness, blood pressure increased, convulsion, heart rate increased, loss of consciousness. Vecuronium dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with URSODIOL, FLOPROPIONE, VALSARTAN, PRAVASTATIN, LAPUTIDINE, NIFEDIPINE, INSULIN, ACETYLSALICYLIC ACID SRT. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac arrest , electrocardiogram st-t change, haemodynamic instability, heart rate increased, metabolic acidosis, metabolic disorder , supraventricular extrasystoles, tumour lysis syndrome, ventricular fibrillation. Vecuronium dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with THIOPENTAL, FENTANYL, OXYGEN, NITROUS OXIDE, ISOFLURANE. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaesthetic complication, blood bilirubin increased, blood pressure decreased, cyanosis, heart rate increased, myocardial infarction, myocardial rupture, pericardial disease, vascular bypass graft. Vecuronium dosage: 10 MG INTRAVENOUS (NOS). During the same period patient was treated with MIDAZOLAM, ETOMIDATE, FENTANYL. Patient recovered.

Vecuronium dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PROPOFOL, ESMOLOL, SEVOFLURANE, XYLOCAINE W, OXYGEN, NITROUS OXIDE. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with EXCELASE, CEFOTIAM HEXETIL HYDROCHLORIDE, CHLORIDE, ISOTONIC SALINE SOLUTION, FLUNITRAZEPAM, GLUCOSE, OXYTOCIN, GLYCERINE ENEMA. Patient died.
