Vecuronium side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from INDONESIA on Oct 04, 2007. Female patient, 40 years of age, was diagnosed with induction and maintenance of anaesthesia and was treated with Vecuronium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: brain oedema, no therapeutic response, procedural complication. Vecuronium dosage: 0.08 MG/KG/HR PRN INTRAVENOUS DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with PROPOFOL, FENTANYL, TRAMADOL, ONDANSETRON, ISOFLURANE, NITROUS OXIDE, OXYGEN. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: brain oedema, cerebral atrophy, oxygen saturation decreased, pyrexia, rhabdomyolysis, somnolence, urine output decreased. Vecuronium dosage: 0.5 MG BID. During the same period patient was treated with SPIRONOLACTONE, FUROSEMIDE, MENATETRENONE, FAMOTIDINE, INCREMIN, CLARITHROMYCIN, POTASSIUM GLUCONATE, ENTOMOL. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaesthetic complication, anaesthetic complication neurological, blood pressure decreased, blood pressure increased, brain oedema, mouth haemorrhage. Vecuronium dosage: 6 MG ONCE/NI/8 MG ONCE; INTRAVENOUS BOLUS/INTRAVENOUS DRIP/INTRAVENOUS BOLUS. During the same period patient was treated with VECURONIUM BROMIDE, VECURONIUM BROMIDE, VECURONIUM BROMIDE, VECURONIUM BROMIDE, VECURONIUM BROMIDE, PROPOFOL, FENTANYL, TRAMADOL. Patient died.

Vecuronium dosage: 8 MG ONCE; INTRAVENOUS (NOS). During the same period patient was treated with PROPOFOL, CEFAZOLIN, HYDROCORTISONE SUCCINATE. Patient recovered.
