Female patient, 77 years of age, weighting 142.9 lb, was diagnosed with staphylococcal infection  and was treated with Vancomycin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: eosinophils urine present, nephritis interstitial, renal failure acute, renal failure chronic, renal tubular necrosis. Vancomycin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with TOPROL, NORVASC, ZOSYN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
