Male patient, 68 years of age, weighting 192.0 lb, was diagnosed with wound infection and was treated with Vancomycin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: rash pruritic. Vancomycin dosage: 1250MG IV Q 12 HOURS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
