Valsartan side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on July 10, 2006. Male patient, 67 years of age, was diagnosed with proteinuria and was treated with Valsartan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood potassium increased. Valsartan dosage: 160MG PO QD. During the same period patient was treated with ENALAPRIL MALEATE, ATENOLOL, CLONIDINE, METOLAZONE, GLIPIZIDE, SIMVASTATIN, CLONAZEPAM, TERAZOSIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
