Valproic side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on May 09, 2006. Female patient, 33 years of age, was diagnosed with schizophrenia and was treated with Valproic. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, ammonia increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood bilirubin increased, dizziness , hepatotoxicity, lethargy, liver function test abnormal. Valproic dosage: 250MG TID PO. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
