Female patient, child 3 years of age, was diagnosed with partial seizures and was treated with Valproic. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: convulsion, depressed level of consciousness, electroencephalogram abnormal, encephalopathy, fatigue, liver disorder, platelet disorder, transaminases increased, vomiting. Valproic dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with OXCARBAZEPINE. Patient recovered.

Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 04/18/2004.
