Female patient, 59 years of age, weighting 147.0 lb, was diagnosed with anxiety  and was treated with Valium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dehydration, diarrhoea, dysarthria, feeling abnormal, hypotension, loss of consciousness, somnolence. Valium dosage: TABLET STRENGTH = 10 MG. 10 MG TAKEN AT 16:00 HOURS AND 15 MG TAKEN AT 21:00 HOURS.. During the same period patient was treated with VASOTEC, LASIX, ZOCOR, PAXIL, INSULIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
