Valganciclovir side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Nov 10, 2008. Male patient, weighting 116.8 lb, was diagnosed with pneumonia cytomegaloviral, obliterative bronchiolitis and was treated with Valganciclovir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agranulocytosis, hyperthermia, neutropenia, obliterative bronchiolitis, thrombocytopenia. Valganciclovir dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with BACTRIM, ROCEPHIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 01/26/2008.
