Valganciclovir side effect was reported by a Health Professional from on Feb 14, 2005. Female patient was diagnosed with cytomegalovirus infection What is  cytomegalovirus infection, prophylaxis and was treated with Valganciclovir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: diarrhoea, nausea What is  nausea. Valganciclovir dosage: 450 MG QOD. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISONE, BACTRIM, VALTREX, VELCADE, CIPROFLOXACIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 01/17/2005.

Patient recovered.
