Valganciclovir side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Nov 27, 2007. Male patient, 49 years of age, was diagnosed with encephalitis cytomegalovirus, hiv infection What is  hiv infection and was treated with Valganciclovir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute respiratory failure, bone marrow failure, c-reactive protein increased, cerebral toxoplasmosis, disseminated intravascular coagulation, eating disorder What is  eating disorder, encephalitis What is  encephalitis, hypoalbuminaemia, loss of consciousness. Valganciclovir dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with COMBIVIR, KALETRA, FOSCAVIR, EPZICOM, REYATAZ. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
