Valganciclovir side effect was reported by a Health Professional from JAPAN on Mar 18, 2008. Male patient, 34 years of age, was diagnosed with cytomegalovirus infection , renal transplant, insomnia, gastric ulcer, hypertension and was treated with Valganciclovir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute psychosis. Valganciclovir dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CELLCEPT, DIAZEPAM, TACROLIMUS HYDRATE, PREDONINE, PARIET, BLOPRESS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
