Valcyte Side Effects Report #4722038-7
Valcyte side effect was reported by a Physician from GERMANY on May 17, 2005. Female patient, 50 years of age, was diagnosed with antiviral prophylaxis and was treated with Valcyte. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatinine increased, blood urea increased, neutropenia, pneumonia , subdural haematoma, syncope. Valcyte dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MYCOPHENOLATE MOFETIL, MYCOPHENOLATE MOFETIL, MYCOPHENOLATE MOFETIL, TACROLIMUS, METHYLPREDNISOLONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: neutropenia, white blood cell count decreased. Valcyte dosage: 450MG EVERY OTHER DAY PO. During the same period patient was treated with MYCOPHENOLATE, TACROLIMUS, PREDNISONE, CIPROFLOXACIN, CLOTRIMAZOLE, NEUPOGEN, VICODIN, VANCOMYCIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
