Valcyte side effect was reported by a Physician from on Apr 07, 2004. Female patient, 47 years of age, weighting 173.7 lb, was diagnosed with cytomegalovirus infection  and was treated with Valcyte. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: condition aggravated, cytomegalovirus infection . Valcyte dosage: 900 MG 2 PER DAY ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with IMMUNOSUPPRESSANT NOS. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatinine increased, c-reactive protein increased, creatinine renal clearance decreased, cytomegalovirus infection , leukopenia, platelet count decreased. Valcyte dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with FOSCAVIR. Patient died on 08/31/2005.
