Valacyclovir side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on June 15, 2007. Male patient, 57 years of age, was diagnosed with herpes zoster and was treated with Valacyclovir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: deafness unilateral, dysarthria, logorrhoea, sensory disturbance. Valacyclovir dosage: 1000 MG PER DAY ORAL. Patient recovered.
