Male patient, 73 years of age, was diagnosed with herpes zoster, cardiac disorder and was treated with Valacyclovir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, anuria, haemodialysis, oedema, renal failure acute. Valacyclovir dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, azotaemia, blood creatinine increased, blood potassium increased, blood pressure decreased, blood urea increased, depressed level of consciousness, dysarthria, haematocrit decreased. Valacyclovir dosage: 2500MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with INSULIN, CANDESARTAN CILEXETIL, DICLOFENAC, RANITIDINE HYDROCHLORIDE, REBAMIPIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
