Ursodiol side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on Sept 21, 2005. Male patient, 54 years of age, was diagnosed with hepatitis c , diabetes mellitus non-insulin-dependent, insomnia and was treated with Ursodiol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, cough, erythema, hepatic function abnormal, hypersensitivity, interstitial lung disease, rash , rash papular. Ursodiol dosage: 600 MG. During the same period patient was treated with EUGLUCON, ROHYPNOL, BASEN, NORVASC, QUINAPRIL. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 72 years of age, was diagnosed with biliary cirrhosis primary and was treated with Ursodiol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cough, interstitial lung disease, pyrexia. Ursodiol dosage: 600 MG. During the same period patient was treated with AZEPTIN, PLETAL, GASMOTIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
