Urso Side Effects Report #5849436-2
Urso side effect was reported by a Health Professional from JAPAN on Aug 08, 2008. Male patient, 57 years of age, was diagnosed with hepatitis c  and was treated with Urso. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood bilirubin increased, gamma-glutamyltransferase increased, hepatic function abnormal, liver disorder, lymphocyte stimulation test positive, off label use. Urso dosage: 600 MG/DAY PO. During the same period patient was treated with EBASTEL, HICEE, FAMOTIDINE, LAC B. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 58 years of age, was diagnosed with hepatic function abnormal and was treated with Urso. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood bilirubin increased, hepatic function abnormal. Urso dosage: 100MG TID PO. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, anaemia, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood bilirubin increased, cholangitis, depressed level of consciousness, hepatic encephalopathy, hepatic failure, hepatitis cholestatic. Urso dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PREDONINE, BUMINATE. Patient died on 10/16/2006.
