Unasyn Side Effects Report #4842324-X
Unasyn side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Nov 16, 2005. Female patient, 78 years of age, was diagnosed with urinary tract infection bacterial and was treated with Unasyn. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agranulocytosis, disseminated intravascular coagulation, rash , sepsis . Unasyn dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with FIRSTCIN, LASIX, TENORMIN, LAXOBERON, ALLOPURINOL, CEFOTIAM HYDROCHLORIDE, CARBENIN. Patient died on 10/13/2005.

During the same period patient was treated with NATEGLINIDE, GLUCOBAY, RABEPRAZOLE. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac failure, loss of consciousness, sepsis , staphylococcal infection , systemic candida, ventricular fibrillation. Unasyn dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PRODIF, IRINOTECAN, FLUOROURACIL, MEROPENEM, PAZUFLOXACIN, CIPROFLOXACIN HYDROCHLORIDE, VANCOMYCIN HYDROCHLORID. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 01/23/2005.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: appendicitis perforated, cholestasis, hyperbilirubinaemia, jaundice , liver function test abnormal, sepsis , transaminases increased.
