Unasyn Side Effects Report #4569703-2
Unasyn side effect was reported by a Physician from on Jan 18, 2005. Male patient, 23 years of age, was diagnosed with pyrexia, pneumonia  and was treated with Unasyn. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: culture urine positive, metabolic acidosis, renal failure, septic shock, staphylococcal infection . Unasyn dosage: 2.25 GRAM (750 MG, 3 IN 1 D), INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with ZYVOX SOULTION, LEVOFLOXACIN, TIENAM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 01/14/2005.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure immeasurable, hepatic failure, pneumonia , renal failure, respiratory rate increased, stevens-johnson syndrome, unresponsive to verbal stimuli. Unasyn dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with VOLTAREN, MEROPEN, PASIL, MEIACT, WARFARIN, CARBOCISTEINE, NEOPHAGEN, FAMOTIDINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 11/03/2005.
