Unasyn Side Effects Report #5132425-3
Unasyn side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Oct 04, 2006. Female patient, 87 years of age, was diagnosed with urinary tract infection  and was treated with Unasyn. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anorexia, depressed level of consciousness, oral intake reduced, renal failure acute. Unasyn dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with UNASYN ORAL, ASPIRIN, ZESTRIL, BIOFERMIN, MARZULENE S, BESACOLIN, MAGNESIUM OXIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, cardiac arrest , depressed level of consciousness, malaise, respiratory arrest. Unasyn dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with AMINOPHYLLINE, PREDNISOLONE, NEOPHAGEN. Patient died on 05/16/2005.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: depressed level of consciousness, electroencephalogram abnormal, grand mal convulsion, hypoglycaemia, loss of consciousness, restlessness, tonic convulsion. Unasyn dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with UNASYN S, DAONIL, ALLOPURINOL, OMEPRAZOLE, GASTROM, MUCOSTA, PANTOSIN, NAUZELIN. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: convulsion, depressed level of consciousness, fibrin degradation products increased, hypoglycaemia, loss of consciousness, nasopharyngitis, oral intake reduced, restlessness. Unasyn dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with DAONIL, ALLOPURINOL, OMEPRAZOLE, GASTROM, MUCOSTA, PANTOSIN, NAUZELIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
