Female patient, 49 years of age, was diagnosed with peritonitis, staphylococcal infection  and was treated with Tygacil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: multi-organ failure, septic shock. Tygacil dosage: unknown. Patient died on 02/24/2007.
