Tygacil Side Effects Report #5726839-8
Tygacil side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Apr 22, 2008. Female patient, weighting 94.80 lb, was diagnosed with sepsis
, pneumonia , rheumatoid arthritis , respiratory tract infection and was treated with Tygacil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardio-respiratory arrest, disease progression, disseminated intravascular coagulation, encephalopathy, pancreatitis, respiratory failure. Tygacil dosage: 100 MG LOADING DOSE, THEN 50 MG DAILY. During the same period patient was treated with METHYLPREDNISOLONE, LEVOFLOXACIN, AMLODIPINE, CARVEDILOL, DOXAZOSIN MESYLATE, OXYCODONE, BUSPIRONE. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled.
