Tygacil side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Feb 27, 2006. Female patient, 58 years of age, weighting 191.8 lb, was diagnosed with klebsiella infection and was treated with Tygacil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: convulsion, hypoglycaemia, klebsiella infection, sputum culture positive. Tygacil dosage: 100 MG LOAD THEN 50 MG EVERY 12 HOURS, INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with LANTUS, NOVOLOG. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
