Tums side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Mar 31, 2005. Female patient, 47 years of age, was diagnosed with dyspepsia and was treated with Tums. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cough, myocardial infarction, thirst. Tums dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with TUMS REGULAR. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 63 years of age, weighting 178.6 lb, was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and was treated with Tums. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, arthritis What is  arthritis, chest pain What is  chest pain, coronary artery stenosis, myocardial infarction, renal failure acute, tooth infection. Tums dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with VIOXX, CELEBREX, BEXTRA, SYNTHROID, TOPROL, ZANTAC, ASPIRIN, AVANDIA. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with PREVIDENT. Patient died on 03/15/2005.
