Female patient, 54 years of age, weighting 166.0 lb, was diagnosed with hiv infection , antibiotic prophylaxis, pneumocystis jiroveci pneumonia and was treated with Truvada. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , acquired diaphragmatic eventration, ageusia, aspartate aminotransferase increased, atrioventricular block first degree, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood bicarbonate decreased, blood bilirubin increased, blood chloride increased. Truvada dosage: 300 MG, 1 IN 1 D, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with BACTRIM DS, BACTRIM DS, ATAZANAVIR, RITONAVIR, DILANTIN, CARDIZEM ER, THIAMINE, AZITHROMYCIN. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.
