Trimethoprim side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED KINGDOM on Oct 29, 2008. Female patient, 79 years of age, was diagnosed with urinary tract infection  and was treated with Trimethoprim. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: confusional state, hyponatraemia, inappropriate antidiuretic hormone secretion, vomiting. Trimethoprim dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
