Female patient, 77 years of age, was diagnosed with urinary tract infection  and was treated with Trimethoprim. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: diarrhoea, hypotension, pyrexia, vomiting. Trimethoprim dosage: 400 MG (200 MG, 2 IN 1 D) ORAL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
