Trimethoprim side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED KINGDOM on Nov 14, 2007. Female patient, 77 years of age, was diagnosed with urinary tract infection  and was treated with Trimethoprim. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: diarrhoea, hypotension, pyrexia, vomiting. Trimethoprim dosage: 400 MG (200 MG, 2 IN 1 D) ORAL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abscess limb, cholelithiasis, diarrhoea, extravasation, heart rate increased, hypotension, multi-organ failure, pyrexia, stevens-johnson syndrome.
